Guerney Drive Hawker Center

We'd heard about the Guerney Drive Hawker Center from our guidebooks, word of mouth and the hotel concierge so we were pretty keen to check it out. We were almost swayed away by our taxi driver (a goofball comedian who had an opinion on pretty much everything) who told us that Guerney Drive was overpriced and touristy. We decided to stick with the plan and go to Guerney anyway and we were glad we did. It was mobbed, that was true, and perhaps a bit more expensive (but we're talking 5 ringgits instead of 4 for most dishes), but there was incredible variety and quality at every booth.
