PARKING

Okay, here's the deal. There are some spaces near the picnic shelter and at the Visitor's Center (which is right across the street from the picnic shelter) -- maybe even enough for each and every attendee to drive and park their own car. But we don't encourage that because a.) that would be environmentally irresponsible, and b.) many other non-wedding attendees will also be visiting the Arboretum in their parked cars, thus taking up many spaces.

So! What's a wedding attendee to do? You are allowed to park along Spruce Circle Drive -- just behind the picnic shelter. There are other parking lots all around Washington Park -- there's one on Knight Blvd just below the Arboretum. It's kind of a steep walk uphill, but it is, at least, a short walk.

Finally, we will be providing a shuttle service. If you need to park elsewhere in the park and it's too far to walk, please note your location and call Veronica's cell phone and someone will come pick you up. Not Veronica. She will be too busy freaking out. But someone else will have her phone and will be happy to arrange transportation. Don't have her number? Well, e-mail or ask someone else who will have the number. I feel weird abaout putting it on the internet.
